Vancouver, BC: Metallis Resources Inc. (TSX-V: MTS) (the “Company” or “Metallis Resources”) is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of the two mineral claims known as the Achilles and King Creek claims covering approximately 53.59 hectares situated within the Company’s Kirkham Property in northern British Columbia.

In consideration for the claims, the Company paid $2,000 cash and issued 25,000 common shares to the vendor. The acquisition consolidates the Company’s Kirkham Property to over 14,880 contiguous hectares.

Fiore Aliperti, President of the Company states: “The purchase of the Achilles and King Creek claims was strategic in nature, as it is situated inside our Company’s existing Kirkham Property. The purchase of these claims is part of our strategic plan to acquire more prospective ground in the heart of BC’s Golden Triangle.”

Dave Dupre, Vice President of Exploration states: “A heavy mineral sample collected at the mouth of a stream that drains the new claims returned a gold assay of 3847 ppb – one of the highest recorded from the Golden Triangle. An area characterized by a large coincident Electro Magnetic and Magnetic anomaly occurs near the headwaters of this creek. Hence, we are excited about these claims and look forward to exploring this part of our property in the future.”
